Pricing FAQ

Yes. There's no subscription and no card required. You pay only when you use a service: 12% of the PO value on production (10% on repeat orders), 20% on sampling invoices, and from 10% on fulfilment. If you produce nothing in a month, you pay nothing. Free is built for brands starting out or producing occasionally, sourcing from the makea network.
Around £10,000 of annual production spend. Below that, paying commission per order costs less than a subscription. Above it, the subscription wins and keeps winning as you grow, because you stop paying a percentage and start paying a flat rate per run. The quickest test: if you're producing regularly with your own suppliers, you've probably already crossed the line.
Nothing stops. Extra runs are billed at your plan's overage rate: £95 on Launch, £89 on Grow, £79 on Pro and Scale. If you're regularly going over, the next plan up will usually cost you less than the overage, and we'll flag it so you can move up rather than keep paying per run.
No. On a subscription, working with your own suppliers carries no commission. That's the point of the flat run-based price. When you source a new supplier from the makea network, that introduction carries a small fee on the first order which tapers to zero as the relationship becomes yours. After that, they're your supplier like any other.
Whichever you know better. The dropdown offers both because they land on the same plan: a brand under £1m in revenue and a brand producing up to 12 runs a year both fit Launch. If you plan your season by styles and orders, pick by runs for a tighter fit. If you only have a rough revenue figure, pick by revenue and we'll map you to the right band. You can switch plans anytime as you grow, so the choice isn't binding.

Spend less. See everything.

No commission, no markups, no per-seat creep — supplier costs pass through at cost, and every quote, sample and order stays yours to see.

Alternatives usually stack. A PLM licence still needs someone to run production, so brands often pay for tools and an agent, or tools and a hire. makea replaces the whole stack with one flat cost that barely moves as you grow.

Estimates only, for comparison. makea pricing shown at annual billing. Your actual costs depend on your suppliers, order values and how you work. Payments are passed through at cost with no makea margin.

"Revenue tripled on styles we already had."
We had three sellout styles but never restocked — reorders were a nightmare. With makea, we flipped them to made-on-demand. No inventory, no delays. Revenue on those three styles? 3x.
